How to gear a barbarian for Inferno Acts 1-4

I notice that a lot of barbarians seem to gear up with as much all resist they could find. This is definitely not the way to go. It could only get you so far. Plus, all resist gear costs a lot of gold since everyone thinks its the most effective way to gear up barbs. (Note: Economy is driven by what people think.) What I try to do is increase my EHP. EHP is effective health pool which is calculated based on your stats. By increasing your EHP you increase your survivability.

So how do I increase my EHP?
Its easy! Do not favor one stat! You do not need to focus on one defensive stat! Try to maximize as many defensive stats as you can.

Before you buy something in the auction house calculate whether it will increase your EHP. Some overrated legendaries like the string of ears may not give you as much EHP as you thought they would. Once you get around 3 million EHP, inferno will be a complete cakewalk. You will be able to farm diablo with 5 stacks of Nephalem Valor!

I wish you all well on your quest to increase your EHP!

Now your probably wondering how do I calculate my EHP? Well, you can use this: EHP Calculator

Kungen dying in hardcore!

I know this is old news but I am just so suprised how this guy reacts to dying in hardcore. He had 175 hours played on his barbarian and he dies. He can never play him again and he didnt even rage. He was like, "Oh, I died. Oh, well." I also heard he made a monk and got him to 60 and it died as well. And now he has another barb. Lol funny guy. His face kinda reminds me of a koala. I wish him luck anyways. He has a pretty entertaining stream btw. Here you go: http://www.twitch.tv/kungentv

Merchanting in Diablo 3 (Playing the Auction House)

To be honest, the main way I make gold in diablo 3 is not by farming but by merchanting(buy low, sell high). Farming takes a while and in inferno its really annoying. To get started you need to research what items are useful to each class. Make sure you know everything about every class when it comes to gear. That way when you encounter a piece of gear you will know whether its useful or not. I cant tell you how many times I had messed up and sold/salvaged armor not knowing it could sell for more than a million. Plus, this will help you find good deals. You can't find good deals if you don't know its one!

The next step is to know how to refresh the data list in the auction house. In my experience with the auction house: it seems as though every search is cached, so when you click on the search button to attempt a refresh it usually just sends you the same data list. This is a problem if you want to look for some cheap deals. In order to somewhat bypass this I would slightly modify what I am looking for. This forces the data list to update to accommodate to the new specifications.

Something very important to take notice is that the items that will bring you the most profit are usually items that have just been posted. Items that say 1d 12h or 1d 11h under the "Time Left" tab are fresh and have just been posted. Keep in mind that just because you can resell an item for 200k more doesn't always mean that you will make profit. You must deduct the 15% fee when you sell an item so keep that in mind when calculating your profit.

Alright so you got a good item but you aren't sure how much it should sell for. The best way to figure out the items price is to search up the item. Look for all the qualities that your item has. Then, look at items that have been posted from 1d 9h+. Anything below is unlikely to sell. So you want to base your prices on that.

Since the game is new the prices are constantly changing quickly. So be careful! Thanks for reading! I will be posting more blogs soon about Diablo so stay tuned!
